Wingra Student Art at Isthmus Green Day
4/16/2008Isthmus Green Day is Saturday April 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Monona Terrace. Wingra student artwork will be on display for the event, before it is moved over to the Alliant Energy Center for next week's Going Green Wisconsin Expo.
Participants who arrive on a bike or bus will get free admission. Wingra families arriving by car should let admission staff know they are a Wingra family, and their admission is reduced to $3 per person.
There will be lots of presentations and displays, including:
- Organic Eating on a Dime
- Recycling Away From Home: How to responsibly plan a festival
- A Greener Internet Future
- On Place, Partnerships and Parsnips: Eating locally with community-supported agriculture
