Community Conversation: Progressive Education

Community Conversation: 2009 Progressive Education Network Conference Thursday, December 3, 2009, from 7-8:30 p.m. Wingra's role in the national progressive education community has continued to grow and deepen over the past few years. Our teaching staff shared their work and perspectives with this national community by presenting at and actively participating in the Washington, D.C. conference. They came back with some great insights, as well. On December 3, staff will spend the evening with us, sharing what they learned from attending the conference, as well as thoughts about how this experience affects their progressive practice here at school. The Open Space part of the evening, modeled after a conference session by the same name, will invite participants to lead and/or participate in discussions about issues they want to talk about.
