An Evening of Jazz with Ben and Leo Sidran 9/10/2010 - Wingra School presents An Evening of Jazz from 6-8:00 p.m. at Epic Systems' Observation Deck auditorium, in Verona. Internationally acclaimed jazz musicians Ben and Leo Sidran (alumni parent and student, respectively) will appear in a concert to benefit Wingra School.

Signups are typically posted at least two weeks prior to conferences, on the main bulletin board near the girls' bathroom on the first floor. |

Duck Day, Observed 4/29/2011 - Duck Day is an internal celebration of the purchase of our building. This year marks the fifth Duck Day, as we enter our fifth year of building ownership. This isn't something parents need to put on their calendars, as it's just a brief celebration mid-day with the students.
Be sure, however, to ask Mary to quack for you. |

Spring All School Concert 5/19/2011 - Every Wingra student has a role in this annual concert, held at Overture's Playhouse Theater.
We love holding our final concert of the year at Overture, and know that it's exciting for the kids. During intermission, sometimes the excitement can be overwhelming, and the rotunda area near the Playhouse, especially, feels like a running, jumping place to some students. Please know that the staff at Overture requests we not allow our children to jump and run in this area. Your assistance in supervising your child(ren) will be needed. Thanks so much! |
