Growing Lifelong Learners Since 1972

Physical Education

Each week, students have many opportunities for physical activity and learning. The green space and playgrounds around the school provide plenty of space for outdoor physical activities, structured and nonstructured.

Daily all-school recess is only the beginning. More structured games and team-building activities take place throughout the week.

Community-building is emphasized, as are healthy life skills. Students develop cooperative, "sportsman-like" attitudes in both competitive and non-competitive situations. They acquire an appreciation for regular physical activity to carry forward throughout their lives.
