Financial gifts to Wingra School represent a vitally important investment in our children’s education and the future of our community. Wingra School is a 501(c) (3) organization and all gifts to Wingra School are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Gifts may be made in cash, check, credit card, stocks, tangible assets, employer matching funds and deferred-giving arrangements.

WAYS TO SUPPORT

Annual Fund
As in most independent schools, tuition at Wingra School covers only a portion of the cost of educating each student. The Annual Fund is a way to help us close "the gap" between tuition and the actual cost of a Wingra School education. Each year, the Annual Fund depends on generous gifts from Wingra families, alumni, grandparents and friends. Money raised goes to support our academic and extracurricular programs, staff development, tuition assistance, supplies, technology, and general operating expenses.

Capital Campaign
In 2007, an anonymous donor group gave Wingra School an amazing gift of $1 million to purchase the Dudgeon School building in which we had leased space for 35 years. In addition, these same donors provided a matching gift opportunity of $4 million to improve and expand the school.

Over these last two years, the school has organized its first capital campaign and has been working with friends of Wingra School to obtain the financial support necessary to take advantage of this incredibly generous matching gift offer.

Wingra Wear
You can now get Wingra School t-shirts, hoodies, and more, online through local vendor Badger Graphic Systems. Purchases can be picked up at Wingra School (no charge!) or delivered by UPS to the address of your choice.

Fair Trade Coffee and Tea Sales
Four times a year , Wingra School orders Fair Trade organic coffees and teas from Madison-based Just Coffee. Profits from these sales go toward our annual All-School Spring Concert at the Overture Center. For the 2009-2010 school year, order dates are September 25, December 4, February 12 and May 7. Cartridges for Kids
